I still don't think it looked like he hit the kid on purpose - not that I(or anyone else, frankly) can see exactly what happened from how closely zoomed in on the driver that video is... but, i know it ain't gonna be good for Tony however it shakes-out.

First of all, Bubba the Love Sponge owns a racetrack in Ocala, FL called Bubba Raceway and the last time I saw him Tony was there. Not as a racer, but announcing with Bubba. So it is true, he and Bubba are good friends. Tony actually sponsors Bubba's sons sprint car.

Tony Stewart is a professional racecar driver. He hit that kid on a yellow flag lap the next time around as the kid was probably shooting him the double bird . He knows how to steer a car just fine.

By the way, if you, or others don't watch NASCAR Tony's NOT racing today whether or not that is by his choice was not stated but I would bet that NASCAR told him to sit. Not racing means losing major seasonal points and virtually destroys your season.

i dont watch as often as i would like since i dont have a TV anymore but i love NASCAR and i really enjoy motocross, supercross and trials racing (though they dont show trials on tv). my parents used to take me to the drag strip all the time when i was a kid (that's where i spent my 16th birthday) and i've only got to see one sprint car race but it was a fuckin blast!!

and i agree with you. Stewart knew full well what he was doing and you can hear him give the car gas, causing it to slide.... he might have been trying to just give the guy a 'fuck you' but he fucked that up.

I've never driven one, but I know somebody that has and by his description it sounds pretty scary and thrilling. I know you live in FL. If you ever want to go see these things race I'll take you. I think you'll change your mind about their "cool factor".
