Re: Video of Beloved Neda Agha-Soltan's Death
Unfortunate event.. Those countries are too set in their ways to change and they dont know any other way of life.. The mother fuckers that want to change their country end up getting killed, so most of the people just STFU out of fear....

Re: Video of Beloved Neda Agha-Soltan's Death
Yep, sure is. A lot of truth in it. Being thinking about it a lot since we visited the middle east, including Israel last September. It was a very eye opening experience, and I encourage everyone to do it if they have the means at least once in their lives. Sure changed my thinking about a lot of things, and verified some stereotypes at the same time, if you know what i mean. |

Re: Video of Beloved Neda Agha-Soltan's Death
I think that's a huge reason why when people say "if Islam if the religion of peace then why don't I see any peaceful Muslims protesting all the violence being done in their name?", nobody is willling to speak out. I think Neda's death, and the deaths of countless people who desperately wish for freedoms, democracy, anything other than the extreme theocracy in other countries run by fundamentalists, is exactly the reason why you don't see it. |

Re: Video of Beloved Neda Agha-Soltan's Death
I've been wanting to go there for so long. I want to see the Western Wall, visit the kibbutzes set up in the names of thoser who gave their lives during WWII fighting the Nazis, visit Yad Vashem, the Warsaw Ghetto Monument..... I'm just worried about the volatile political situation over there.
