Those last little few stabs at the end were for general purpose and were meant to be for personal gratification.. The victim must have borrowed his impact driver and bit set and lost one of the bits on the set  |

At least they shot him before the frantic stabbing. Remember that video of the woman getting stabbed and as violent those stabs were, she was still alive attempting to catch the blade and screaming in terror and pain.  |
