VERY GRAPHIC- Islamic State (IS) Suspect Slaughtered

During the last two months, thousands of people in Iraq and Syria were executed and several of them beheaded. The Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) was responsible for these crimes. It is a Sunni jihadist group in the Middle East, operating mainly in Syria and Iraq.

This video is different though. According to the executioner in the video, the victim is from the “Islamic State”. He says from 00:05 to 00:12 that the Islamic State is responsible for the slaughtering of Shiites and therefore he will slaughter him too: “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth”.

The original uploader is a sympathizer of the Islamic State and published the video on August 23th, 2014 on YouTube. He states that the victim was kidnapped on August 19th and beheaded on August 22th.
The uploader states that Shia milita (“Maliki soldiers, referring to the old Iraqi Prime Minister) is responsible for the crime, which is operating in Tuz Khormato. Tuz Khormato is a town that is the main centre of the Tooz District in Saladin Province, Iraq, located 55 miles south of Kirkuk.
The uploader states in the description that the victim is called “Abaz Saleh” and that he was kidnapped at his home near the region of “Sulaiman Bek”. There is no information on the age of Abaz Saleh, but he was a Sunni according to the Islamic State sympathizer.

The uploader mentions though that he was a student in A’adaya. I am not sure if this is a city or a school in the region of near Tuz Khormato.

The victim was alive, you can hear him breathing during the video. You also can see that the video was taken at a cemetery, probably to bury him right after he was slaughtered.

During the crisis in Iraq this year, the Iraqi Army left the region of Tuz Khormato and the Kurdish Pershmerga took control of it.

The whole purpose of the video is to revenge the death of the thousands of Iraqis who were killed by the Islamic State. It is important to keep religion out of politics to prevent sectarian violence.

After I saw what the Islamic State did with hundreds of civilians, I can understand the people who did this, but I am not sure if the victim is actually a combatant.. I can’t really say if they just used him as a scapegoat.
