Venezuelan Woman Dead in the Street After Hit and Run in Brazil
Brazil. A Venezuelan woman identified as Aura L.C.T, 39 years old, died after being run over in the early hours on Christmas day around 5:20 am, in the East Zone of Manaus. According to the police report filed at the Specialized Homicide and Kidnapping Division (DEHS), the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident did not provide assistance to the victim and fled the scene immediately after the hit-and run. Emergency teams were called, but Aura was found already dead. The body was removed by the Forensic Medical Institute (IML). The Civil Police reported that investigations are ongoing to identify the driver and clarify the circumstances of the hit-and-run. Witnesses are being interviewed, and security camera footage from the area should help in the investigation. |

Merry fucking Christmas to her and her family.  It’s hard to run from traffic cameras. Hopefully they’ll find the person and deal with them appropriately.  |

It's weird that they're ripping her clothes open, presumably to reveal her wounds. Since she's apparently already dead, I wouldn't think that would be necessary until she gets to the coroner.
