She has more nerve than I do. She grabbed the weapon and kept it from being pointed at her. Her screams were human involuntary instinct with adrenaline coursing through her veins. Regardless of the pitch of her yells, she did her job. I've seen plenty of men in law enforcement yelling while under attack. The pitch of the voice is the only difference.

Good to see the full lapel cam video. Sheds light on rural law enforcement and how fucked up tweeker logic can get in a heartbeat... she should have waited for the back up (Anthony) arrive prior to engaging the suspect  |

She is lucky. I think he grabbed the gun with no bullets, if he got the right one, she would be toast. She fucked up and got caught slipping. Bet she doesn't let that happen again. A good vet cop would have had that dude out the car the second they suspected a crime. |

They were in BFE Illinois. Land of corn. She was probably used to dealing with locals, and therefore made a rookie mistake. She had no reason to think there was anything more sinister than a passed-out drunk driver.
