That was actually a good fight, action-packed. Black victim dressed in black? Based on my personal experience, he probably came around looking for trouble and thought these two Asians would be easy pickings. THAT being said, you already had the dude overwhelmed. There was absolutely no need for you to kill him. You could have shot him in the legs and he'd be disabled. Now you're going away for second degree murder  . Just because you see it in the movies doesn't make it cool.

I don't understand what you mean. Please elaborate. You're absolutely correct. I have never fired a gun before. HOWEVER, i DO understand based on everyday experience that the legs cover a larger surface area than the head and are an easy target to shoot at when someone is laying on the ground. If you can shoot at a person's head, you might as well shoot them in the leg. A shattered bone will incapacitate an individual long enough for you to either apprehend them or flee. |

I read that this was possibly a case of mistaken identity. The black guy supposedly owed the Asian guys money. They beat him up and shot him twice when he denied being the person they were seeking. Apparently, the police in Philly confirmed that the black guy is pediatric technician with no criminal history and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. The Asian guys are gang members with a long history of crime including attempted murder, rape, and drugs.

"Just about 9:30 p.m., in Southwest Philly, an argument at an airport Uber parking lot, on Island Avenue, turned violent as a 28-year-old man was shot three times, authorities said. He sustained gunshot wounds to his shoulder and back and was treated at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He is listed as stable. Police say the investigation is active." Guy seems to have survived. Also, there's a fake "police statement" doing the rounds which is fake. Please don't share that on here. |
