Doing gay ass dances at the gas station is annoying as fuck, but it’s not something worth dying for. Calling someone a ****** is shitty, but it’s not something you should really be arrested for. However, when you engage someone over words, that’s when all that other stuff goes out the window. It’s not like they were just dancing and the other dude went up and stabbed them. They fought, gay dude lost. In any other situation, people love to say “talk shit get hit”. Granted, it was stabbed, but… yeah. If the gay dude had just ignored the guy and drove away nothing would’ve happened.

That's exactly what happened. The victim did approach the namecaller. In fact, there was an initial approach by the victim & then they separated. Then the victim went back at the namecaller & that's when he got stabbed.

"Bystanders acted as “peacemakers,” and the men shouting at Mr. Sibley’s group began to disperse, Mr. Kenny said — except for the defendant."
This was after:
"The men yelled homophobic slurs and anti-Black statements at Mr. Sibley, who was Black, and his friends, Mr. Kenny said, all while demanding they stop dancing."

Know the Muslims are actually recording, but I haven't seen any of the videos that they posted them.
