Made a post about this on vid requests but I found a abrupt cut version of it on a weird ass archive.
lmk if anyone has the full version

Archive post: “On January 21, J. W. of St. Helena died from head and neck injuries after he plunged about 100 feet from Morro Rock while climbing its northwest face.

Not sure if this is an accident, or suicide? This one will always perplex me. The way he kicks the piece of wood down and sees it plummet and splinter. But still keeps trying to go down the same way. And the sounds of all the birds is a little creepy too."

None of that matters, I’m just glad he’s dead.

Looks like suicide to me or he was special needs.

So who is yelling at him to go back up? The commands sound rather peremptory, as though issued by someone in law enforcement. Was he running from them? That would explain taking desperate chances.
