Indonesian Man Fatally Stabs Himself by Accident During Wedding Ceremony
In Pangkep, South Sulawesi, an 18-year-old man, Muhammad F., lost his life when he stabbed himself too deep with a dagger while performing a traditional 'angngaru' tradition. Muhammad, who was the cousin of the bride, performed the ceremony in front of the groom and his family, and stuck the dagger in his chest before repeatedly hitting the dagger. However, it appears he unintentionally drove the dagger too deep into his chest, and he collapsed and died seconds later. |

What a tradition to have I assume it must have something to do with regulating the number of males at marriages or something of the sort. |
