I got bit by my ex's Rottweiler two different times. Im sorry but after the first bite, something needs to be done. You cant just let your dog keep injuring people.

Re: USA - Elderly Man Killed By Pitbulls
Hmm this makes me think to add a couple jugs of saline or pedialyte or something to my trunk kit. So I pull up, see something like this, delete the two dogs with 5.56mm because great state of AZ. Then what? This guy is both leaking fluids and in shock and you can't even begin to dress any wounds after major bleeding is stopped cause all the dirt and filthy dog slobber everywhere contaminating everything. |

Then there is the question of what was permanently damaged or disfigured to the point he might not have wanted to survive past a point?

Re: USA - Elderly Man Killed By Pitbulls
Well these aren't pit bulls, so there's that. But even if they were, this would still be 100% the owner's fault because they did not work on this behavior, and because there's a hole in the fence line with which the dogs seem very familiar. Which speaks to their irresponsible nature. Others have already pointed out that Chihuahuas and the like actually have the highest number of bite incidents, it's just that they don't get the headlines because they don't do anywhere near as much damage. It's totally anecdotal, of course, but I work in an animal shelter and at any given time about half of our dogs are pit bulls. In my personal experience pitties can be the most lovable, adorable goofballs out there. It's not their fault that despite an overabundance of strays, jerkoffs out there keep breeding pit bulls to sell puppies to people who want them for fighting or status symbols. The poor dogs get mutilated and raised with no love. What else can be expected? It doesn't mean the whole breed needs to be eradicated or shot on site, for fuck's sake. |
