Eh I used to feel the same way but after one of my roommates had a female pitbul, I lived with in her elderly years too. So the time when everyone says they can snap. But no, she was honestly one of the sweetest and loving dogs I’ve ever met. She’s lay with my roommates baby to keep him warm during the cold days, she’d stay by him as though his mother. They also had a kitten that she used to literally let “drink from her”. She’d just lay down and let the car have at it lol. Like a mother to all. I’m a firm believer in dogs will react and behave how you raise them and treat them. Raise and treat them with love and a nice home. I guarantee you 99% of the time even a pitbul will love you till the end. Beat them, neglect them, starve them, avoid them and treat them like rabid animals and that’s how they’re gonna act and treat strangers. I dunno I’m a beagle guy myself. So I’d still probably never personally own a pitbul though lol

Personally I also have only had good experiences with pitbulls. Although my time on DR has strongly changed my opinion on them. I would not trust owning one, or having one near other animals/children.

This is so sad, what a painful way to go, being chewed alive and torn apart. His poor wife would have witnessed some of this. I love dogs but it’s always the pit bulls that cause the most damage. There should be complete ban on the breed.

Pitbulls are like people ,both good and bad. You dont treat/train them, they gonna bite like some humans do when they are mad with guns.

Like I've said before, 20+ years of having them as pets and my kids growing up around them I've never had a single issue.

Then again I don't live in a trailer, clip their ears nor train them to attack or fight.
