Re: USA - Cop Accidentally Kills Subject
i agree in part.yes police must have extreme high control when using a gun.the safety seemed off but the tone "oh shit"from the officer actual means that he didnt mean to shoot him as he was no threat.still he must have be charged as manslaughter atleast |

Re: USA - Cop Accidentally Kills Subject
Whoops, accidents happen...just like accidentally selling drugs, accidentally stealing cars, accidentally running from the police, and/or accidentally being a thug in general. Dude might still be alive if he didn't give multiple reasons for a shit-ton of police to be chasing his dumbass. Buh-bye, G. P.S. And fuck you to those posting here that ALWAYS take the side of the criminals...twice...and sideways. |

Re: USA - Cop Accidentally Kills Subject
Cop was negligent. I hope the criminal’s family gets some compensation for that. That he was a criminal doesn’t justify him getting killed. At the same time, the criminal was negligent in the sense that he created the situation he was in. If you’re a criminal, chances are cops will be after you. And cops have guns, and guns can go off intentionally or accidentally. Couple that with the impulsivity and low IQ characteristic of many criminals, and possibly the bad character of some asshole cops, and this can be the result.

That's an earlier case from 2019 when he was charged for excessive force but was later acquitted. The investigation for the shooting is still ongoing.

Wow, what a well thought out and articulated response that has absolutely nothing to do with what I said.

Another officer of the law that is so scared of another person they shoot before saying stop. If they can't handle the heat maybe they should work the drive thru instead. |

Re: USA - Cop Accidentally Kills Subject
It was clearly an accident. He said "shit" when the gun fired. He didn't handle the firearm correctly and accidentally discharged it.
