At least ten people have been killed and more than thirty injured after a man drove a truck through a large crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans in the early hours of New Year's Day.

The popular tourist destination was packed with revelers when the white truck was driven through people at high speed, with the driver then getting out and shooting at people.

Police say the man was shot once and died on the scene. He was clad in body armor and had to be shot in the face. A female (poss. bystander) was apparently grazed by gunfire.

Suspect vehicle with some type of black flag (ISIS) and external camera mounted on pole attached to bumper. IED's also located inside truck...
