I wasn't. There are many videos on this website that show the head still emoting after being severed. In at least one ISIS video, the face had time to squint its eyes as the blood from the gaping neck poured all over it.

Isn't this a repost? I remember there being another video where a guy got his head cut off up in a tree, and his head went tumbling down.
That being said, is it just a motion blur or did his disembodied head change its expression to one of surprise when it went hurdling? I think that must be the worst part of being decapitated. We've seen killers toss heads around, lift them up to present as trophies...and for those few seconds that the person is still alive, his or her sense of balance is still functioning, so it must feel as if they are moving at a tremendous speed that the human body just isn't accustomed to .
