BEKASI — An unidentified man died after being struck by a long-distance train near the Duren Jaya crossing in East Bekasi District, Bekasi City, West Java, early Thursday morning (August 20, 2026).

The victim was reportedly on the tracks when a train traveling from Cikampek toward Jakarta passed by. The impact threw the victim and dragged him approximately 10 meters from the point of collision.

Residents who witnessed the incident reported it to the police. Rawalumbu Sector Police duty officer First Inspector (IPTU) Asep stated that they received a report regarding a man lying near the tracks.
