She obviously became disoriented while crossing the street, and this is what happened. Chinese streets just claimed another old timer.

Many Chinese truck drivers are monsters with complete disregard of traffic rules. Most people , like me , would try my best to keep a huge distance from those vehicles under any circumstances. The moment you don't "respect" them, you have a big chance getting killed, and they had assumed everyone else already knew this as a common sense.
