A married couple died on Sunday evening (19) after a serious accident on the BR-101, near the Tapera neighborhood, in Campos dos Goytacazes. The collision involved a motorcycle and a truck.

The victims were riding the motorcycle when the collision occurred. Rescue teams were called and arrived at the scene to provide assistance, but the couple did not survive their injuries and died at the scene on the highway. The bodies were recovered in the early hours of Monday (20) and sent to the municipal Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML). The circumstances of the accident have not yet been detailed.
