Brave but also foolhardy. He was more useful bringing ammo to the frontline than his mistake of trying to help a guy who was already doomed, especially out in the wide open like that in the middle of heavy fire. He'd have done better to run ammo, retreat, repeat. I appreciate showing what actual heroism looks like though. Before all of the glamour filters put on by the military afterwards. |
