What a wanker that reporter was...his damn Kevlar lid was too small and his body armor didn't have any rifle plates...poser. By the way...what's with most of the "rebels" wearing new American Multiple-Cam camouflage? That seems rather odd...I wonder if that was secret aid from the US?

I was thinking the exact same thing. They're all breathless and excited...like they were even within a half mile from any actual combat. What idiot posers...they'd all crap themselves if they ever actually heard someone fire a shot in anger. I've not been impressed with VICE at all...seems like they have a fairly far left agenda. And judging by this reporter retard, it's not a suprise. They must not pay well.

Vice is pretty well balanced as far as this kind of thing goes. The fact that the reporters are usually skinny little twerps who look completely out of place anywhere but a Starbucks doesn't mean they have a far-left agenda.

Well said...he did look like he should be in a Starbucks. I might be thinking of the VICE on HBO. The one where Bill Moyers is the producer...that series is rather biased. I just assumed this was the same operation.

I've watched a lot of this stuff from this Vice, and I'm pretty sensitive to bias, and I've only seen small glimpses of it. They usually do a damned good job of just reporting what they see. On the other subject, if you haven't watched their Congo documentary, I definitely recommend it. There's a scene where the reporter is riding in an armored vehicle, and he's getting jostled around a bit and makes a comment about how he didn't realize how uncomfortable it is to ride in these things. Of course, that's because he's 130lbs of intellectualism and 5k fun runs and his body straight up can't handle it. |
