~ The Ukrainian guy was too out of shape to have attempted this in the first place, so it had to be a dare, by some older guy who used to do it but can't do it anymore. ~ The river was not flowing so he wasn't carried away at first. ~ Therefore he most likely got sudden hypothermic shock which caused him to become paralyzed, so he couldn't move to save himself. ~ He was partially training for impending war with Russia? By old cold gut veteran soldier? |
