"Last evening in Kiev, a foreign car driver knocked down a man crossing a pedestrian crossing. The impact of that was thrown back a dozen meters, despite all the vain attempts at resuscitation, the pedestrian died a few minutes later."

~ I consider this the usual scenario whereas the driver was driving too fast & the pedestrian was walking too slow.
~ The foreign accused driver does not look under the influence, but the victim looks like he is, even as he lays there dying. It's Kiev Ukraine, so speeding or drinking practices may not differ too much from Russian, or any neighboring country for that matter.

~ Kiev is the capital of Ukraine, Ukraine is the Ancestral Mother Country of Russia, the Father Country.
