Re: Ukraine: Aftermath Of Bombing Of TV Tower
No, that is not the reason, history tends to repeat itself, a similar situation happened in 1962. The situation was detonated after the US government opposed the nationalization of land and enterprises that the Cuban government was carrying out, an economic, financial and commercial embargo was initiated by the US. As a result of the hostility initiated by the US, Castro decided to turn into a Socialist government and aligned to the USSR. The US government ended diplomatic relationships with the Cuban government and invaded Playa Girón in a failed operation that was busted in three three days by the Cuban military. After the failure, the CIA launched "The Cuban project" or "Operation Mongoose" (An extensive campaign of terrorist attacks against civilians, and covert operations with the intent to destabilize Castro's regime) as a desperate measure, Castro made an agreement with the USSR to install missiles in Cuba to dissuade any attempt of the US to invade Cuba. When the US government learned of the missile ramps installed in Cuba a naval operation was launched to surround the island. The blockage by the US was declared an aggression by the USSR government, this is known as the "Missile crisis of 1962" The naval operations of the US was a necessary one to avoid having Russian missiles so close to the continental US. Now fast forward 60 years and we have the OTAN offering Ukraine an invitation to adhere and with that the installation of nuclear missiles virtually at the door of the USSR, Putin is now confronting the same situation John F. Kennedy confronted in October of 1962. No president of a super power would want OR ALLOW the enemy to place nuclear missiles at their backyard, Putin was left with no option, even limp wristed Biden would become belligerent if confronted under the same circumstances. If world war three is the result of all this, then the OTAN would be the culprit for instigating Putin to resort to such drastic measures, he's like a cornered feral cat now, if at any moment he feels desperate we could be the witnesses of the last war of human civilization. Dead by bombing, by radiation or famine as a result of a nuclear winter, not even the preppers would survive. |

Re: Ukraine: Aftermath Of Bombing Of TV Tower
Yes, the original map was Russia, but that was yonks ago, absolutely donkeys years ago. What's done is done, there should be no going backwards into the dark ages where people attack each others countries for it's resources, the land. That's the distant past. Now, lives are more important. Freedom is more important. Governing with FEAR is over in this day and age. Too many SEE what leaders are doing. It's WIDE OPEN for all to see and witness, thanks to technology. Now days very little goes on anymore without someone filming evidence, there is 'Proof now days!' Leadership is attained by people RESPECTING your leadership. I'm afraid Putin has lost a LOT of respect, and from his OWN as well. His generals, his right hand men, his elite superior soldiers, they've ALL got their doubts now. Owww...what have you gone and done Putin!? Thanks to a personal human freedom we ALL should have the right to live on this planet and NOT be killed by another person for 'land and resources.' Enough. I put my name down at the embassy to FIGHT. I know the AK47 and am a crack shot. Have YOU looked into the flights? We have a duty to humanity to get over there and fight alongside a country of people being literally SLAUGHTERED because they're DEFENDING themselves, their animals, homes and their land. Get cracking and find their closest embassy! Get over there ASAP! They're got a FIGHT ahead of them, that's for sure. For YEARS Putin will be hiding from the retribution coming for him. Already a $1 million bounty is on his noggin! I wouldn't like to be in his dum ass shoes! |

Re: Ukraine: Aftermath Of Bombing Of TV Tower
I’m sorry, can you point me to where NATO is just all willy-nilly placing nukes in the new member states? The answer is that is not how it works. I would also hazard a guess that actually shelling a nuclear power plant is a much greater hazard to Europe and the world than these phantom missiles. |

Re: Ukraine: Aftermath Of Bombing Of TV Tower
Russia only wanted to take it offline. Not destroy it. Reason? Because they plan on using it in the near future to spread their own propaganda. Once the area has been conquered, Russia will send in engineers to repair the installation. You can’t repair what has been completely destroyed. Rebuild yes but that would take much longer not to mention very expensive.
