The naval operations of the US was a necessary one to avoid having Russian missiles so close to the continental US.

Now fast forward 60 years and we have the OTAN offering Ukraine an invitation to adhere and with that the installation of nuclear missiles virtually at the door of the USSR, Putin is now confronting the same situation John F. Kennedy confronted in October of 1962.

No president of a super power would want OR ALLOW the enemy to place nuclear missiles at their backyard, Putin was left with no option, even limp wristed Biden would become belligerent if confronted under the same circumstances.

If world war three is the result of all this, then the OTAN would be the culprit for instigating Putin to resort to such drastic measures, he's like a cornered feral cat now, if at any moment he feels desperate we could be the witnesses of the last war of human civilization.

Dead by bombing, by radiation or famine as a result of a nuclear winter, not even the preppers would survive.

NATO did not and was not planning on going Nato and even when it was considered the Russians would assassinate Ukrainian politicians to prevent that. Russia invaded a sovereign nation that Russia promised to let be as long as they let go of they’re nuclear arsenal. Russia is the one invading for Christ sake.
