Ukraine - 4 Workers Dead from Ammonia Poisoning

In Kharkov, four employees of the water utility were killed due to the evaporation of harmful substances. During the drainage work, one of the public utilities became ill and lost consciousness, which is why he fell into the well. Three of his colleagues tried to help the victim, but all four died on the spot from ammonia poisoning.

None of the workers had vapor protection.
