No it won't, once the heart is detached from the body it will be controlled only by the sinus node located in the right atrium and not the sympathetic nervous system. |

I would have stood there and filmed the heart until it stopped. Then head over to the rest of the scene. To see if it stops gradually, or abruptly. A once in a gazillion opportunity lost.
