I stabilized it as well as I could with all the gun flashes knocking out the alignment. A slower one comes on after.
It gets ridiculously sloppy.

It may be excessive, unnecessary, overkill. But the first shot either killed him within seconds, or rendered him immediately unconscious. So he felt nothing.
