Yeah, he looks like he thinks he’s still driving… He’ll be driving through eternity.
Driving becomes a praxia through constant repetition and it is saved in the brain as a set of motor skills like a biological "macro" (that you never forget, such as bike riding for example) so his brain got stuck playing the last macro on auto-mode... I guess

My thoughts exactly every time a group of "gore sight-seers" gather around an accident/crime scene, they usually are on the look for firearms, jewelry, drugs or cash lying around.
