She was... alive... but obviously, not for long. The title is correct. These two women were DOA or as my Boyfriend likes to say "DRT" , which means: dead right there.  |

Many times in that situation you want to leave a heavy object on the victim until help arrives ( as long as it doesn't impede breathing.) The pressure from the car could be helping to hold off massive internal bleeding. Best to wait for medics:)
