How many people out there are looking for help and for a do gooder to come along and they actually need it while these twits were trying to feel better about themselves until they were tortured murdered and burned? I’m not disagreeing, but what you fail to understand is Christian missionaries see what they do as the greater good. They don’t WANT to die but they don’t fear dying for their cause. No different than terrorists who see their cause as worthy of the risk.

If you believe in the Bible, Jesus himself willingly subjected himself to a terrible death when he easily could have saved himself. In the Christian world, death is just a part of the plan, nothing more.

Sure he can. And sometimes he probably does. But these young people knew the dangers all around them and chose to live there and take the risks associated with it anyway. I'd agree with most everyone with this awesome "new" idea that Christian missionaries are ignorant, leftist kids with no idea about the dangers- expect for the fact that Christian missionaries have been getting tortured and killed for going to hostile places and spreading The Word all the way back to the disciples. I know a couple that also went to Haiti, and they knew exactly what was possible prior to going.

You do realise we probably don't have free will? Our brain chemistry isn't somehow protected from influences of cause and effect. I know you need it for your religion, but you also need a god too, which is something else there is no good evidence for.

I’m a Christian I am saved by grace. I’m also intelligent enough to know that when you touch a hot stove it will burn you so don’t touch it. I am not bashing on just Christians I’m bashing on every puffed up do gooder narcissist ass hole who gives no care for the people their decisions directly impact and affect. “For the greater good” “all part of a bigger plan” these are things the weak minded use to excuse their bad behavior and bad decisions. These people looking to feel better about themselves went unarmed and with no security to one of the most violent and dangerous places in the world so they could feel better about themselves. Again I say… all of these types from the liberal idiots tying themselves to trees in the jungle thinking they won’t be mowed down to the Christian zealots walking into violent and dangerous lawless dirt countries to the do gooder doctors without boarders hanging out in war zones…. They all have childlike minds, they are selfish and narcissistic to believe they are untouchable. They think they understand human nature and only want to see rainbows and unicorns sprinkling fairy dust. They are absolutely delusional. Should Christianity be spread, absolutely, but you don’t take your wife with you to a place where rape and murder are just hobbies for most people. She died ugly and it’s absolutely 100% his fault.
