Two Teens on a Pit Bike Were Killed After Crashing During Police Pursuit
Domodedovo, Moscow, Russia A 16-year-old boy, Vova, who had been gifted a pit bike by his parents, decided to take his 18-year-old girlfriend, Marina, for a ride on the bike. Under Russian law, pit bikes can only be used on tracks, special closed courses, and sports grounds, not public roads. When traffic police officers noticed the duo, they ordered them to stop, but Vova decided to speed away. The chase was short and ended tragically - the teenagers were killed when they collided with a car. Responsibility for what happened will most likely be shared by the victims’ parents. |
