Two Prison Workers Shot and Killed Inside a Bar
Peru, Two workers of the National Penitentiary Institute were brutally killed yesterday while they were enjoying some drinks at a bar. The victims were identified as Jean C. G. A, and German V. A. Both were attacked around 5 PM, under circumstances that are still under investigation. A third person was injured, but was able to be transported in time to the hospital, where she is being treated. According to unofficial versions, the crime would have been motivated by an alleged act of revenge, perpetrated by inmates and ex-inmates of the prison system, which raised alarms about the safety of staff working in detention centers. |

Re: Two Prison Workers Shot and Killed Inside a Bar
It's becoming common in a lot of facilities for CO's to wear face masks and do not wear identification badges to avoid becoming targets for extortion. Might have saved these guys if that was the practice in the facility they worked in. Prisoners communicate with the outside world and obtain info and the next thing these COs know is some inmate is rattling off where they live, what their kids names are and the CO better smuggle in drugs, phones and cash or the hit order will be placed.
