Two Police Officers Were Killed by Sicarios
La Troncal, Ecuador- Around noon on Tuesday, May 2, two police officers were killed in La Troncal, Cañar province. The uniformed men were attacked when they were fulfilling their duties. While they were on board a patrol car, subjects arrived in a vehicle and shot at the uniformed men who lost their lives instantly. The National Police, in order not to let his memory die, paid tribute to the agents who were victims of organized crime. First Sergeant I.M.A.. He was 43 years old and served in the institution for about 21 years. Second Sergeant H.V.T.. He was barely 37 years old and 16 years of service in the police institution. Juan Zapata, Minister of the Interior, announced the possible reason why the gendarmes were attacked. "We ruled out a retaliation (retaliation)," Zapata told Expreso after the General Commander of the National Police, Fausto Salinas, announced the death of the uniformed personnel. |

Normally they leave behind a poster explaining why this happened. I wish they had done that here because without that, the world may never know why these guys got shot.
