A serious accident occurred on Thursday afternoon on BR-116, near a rural area of Icó, Ceará state, which resulted in the deaths of two men - Ivanildo S.d.S., who was decapitated, and Roberto C.S.d.O., who suffered multiple fractures. Roberto died shortly after arriving at hospital.

The victims were riding a red Honda Bros 160 motorcycle. According to preliminary information, the motorcycle driver was attempting to overtake when he collided head-on with a truck traveling in his lane. The driver of the truck involved in the accident fled the scene after the accident.
