Two Men Killed After One of Them Dumped a Cigarette Down Sewer
In Khasavyurt, Dagestan, Russia, two public servants were killed in an explosion caused when one of them dumped a cigarette butt down a sewer where flammable acetylene gas from vaporising carbide has accumulated. The men had arrived to perform technical work at a residential building.
