Two Men Died After Machete Fight Over a Woman
A violent confrontation between two men over a woman called Yuma left two men dead last Saturday in DR. The incident occurred at around 3:00 in the morning in an alley. The victims who stabbed and hacked each other with machetes were B. G. A, a 29-year-old Dominican, and J. F, a 24-year-old Haitian. The coroner confirmed that both died of hemorrhagic shock resulting from puncture and slash wounds. The case has caused great uproar among residents of the tourist community, who are calling for justice and greater control in the face of frequent cases of interpersonal violence. |
