i once drove down a drain gulley at the side of the road in the absolute middle of no where, no one around, not a building in sight, while on holiday in India, the front end of the car dropped as the wheel went down into the gulley about a foot.I jumped out and ran round to the nearside to estimate the severity of the problem, im not going to get that out on my own i said to my wife in the passenger seat, i knelt down on all fours and looked underneath the car to see if i could possibly spot a jacking point or leverage point but was dismayed to see how deep it actually was leaving nothing to lever against. I got back up to tell my wife we were fucked ! and jumped back in amazement to find 25 to 30 young men crowded around my car all doing the wobbly head thing with a your a dickhead look on their faces and 25 iphones all pointing at me and the car. I dont know where they came from and neither does my wife as she didnt see anyone until they were there, they picked the car up and placed it back on the road for us and i was so grateful i gave them a couple of thousand rupees as a thank you (25 to 30 Dollars ). They all bowed to me as though i was God himself and slowly dissipated back into oblivion and tranquility.To this day i am dumbfounded as to where they were all hiding ? but in third world asian countries they seem to do this at will.
