Two Killed when Speeding Car Slams into a Motorcyclist and a Car
Guatemala. A speeding car slams into a motorcyclist and a car in front of a bakery. Two people died and five others were seriously injured in the crash. The two that died were identified as Samuel Alberto R. C. (51) who was a well-known local lawyer. He was on his motorcycle when he was struck by the speeding vehicle. Alfonso C. C.(60). He was inside the stationary car. Five individuals were rushed to the National Hospital, Marlon H.E.C. (51), Jorge M.C.G. (50), Olga A.O.V. (47), Marina A.B. (26) and Juan J.A.S. (38). Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. Authorities are still investigating whether excessive speed or driving under the influence were primary factors in the driver's failure to brake before the collision. |

Wow, that was fast. The poor lawyer on his bike had the time to see death coming at him in the form of a car, but maneuvering his motorcycle made it impossible to dodge it |

I think that one was probably beyond the definition of "speeding car". If it was going much faster it would have reached escape velocity!

Re: Two Killed when Speeding Car Slams into a Motorcyclist and a Car
Pretty obvious suicide run, it just happened to end right THERE (by two security cameras, lucky for us). Impact was so hard it burst something (cycle's gas tank, plowing vehicle's radiator, something) ON the spot with a wet smear, as everything screamed off broken and shattered into the night.
