Two Fishermen Were Killed After Being Run Over By Pumpboat
Bien Unido, Bohol, Philippines Two fishermen, identified as Rene A.R. and B-Jay M., were fishing using a net on their pumpboat when they were suddenly rammed by another motorized pumpboat. Due to the force of the collision, their boat was almost split in half, and both victims were thrown into the sea. Rene was the first to be brought to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival. B-Jay was initially reported missing for several hours, but was eventually found lifeless. A police officer from Bien Unido disclosed that an investigation is ongoing to identify who was operating the boat that struck the victims. |
