Re: Two Factory Workers Dead After Water Tank Explodes
Why would they weld it while it is under pressure?

Re: Two Factory Workers Dead After Water Tank Explodes
I don't know wtf the plan is but looks like they are grinding rough edges off, not welding. Not that it makes much difference. I don't think anyone should be near it though if it is being pressurized.

Re: Two Factory Workers Dead After Water Tank Explodes
Sounds like bullshit to me. Looks more like a strip down on a fuel tank that just needed a spark on the fumes inside. |

Re: Two Factory Workers Dead After Water Tank Explodes
Investigators opened a criminal case into the death of two men and the injury of several others, aged between 28 and 51. According to investigators, the workers were doing gas welding work in a rented workshop. They were checking a water tank under pressure, for which they pumped air into it. Having identified the leak, they began welding it, at which point the explosion occurred. Guess some others were grinding the rough edges off. Hope someone can blow the lid off the real story. |
