Truck and passenger car caught fire —

Two drivers died and a cyclist was injured in an accident involving a passenger car, a truck and a bicycle, on BR-135, in Curvelo, this Monday afternoon (19).
According to the first information from the Highway Military Police, the car was heading towards Montes Claros, the cart was heading towards Belo Horizonte and the cyclist was going to Corinto, when the car lost control, aquaplaned, rolled on the track and collided with the cart, hitting the cyclist. It was raining at the time of the accident.
With the impact of the crash, the vehicles were thrown into the ravine and caught fire. The truck driver and the passenger car driver had their bodies charred. The cyclist also fell into the ravine, was rescued and taken to the Imaculada Conceição Hospital, in Curvelo. According to the dealership, the state of health is stable.
The fire brigade was called, and the car from the dealership that manages the road controlled the flames. Forensics attended the scene and did the usual work.
The track was completely closed for about an hour and started at stop and go at around 6 pm.
