Two Dead After Truck Carrying Load of Animal Fat Crashes Into Bus
La Matanza Partido, Buenos Aires, Argentina (incidentally, 'matanza' means 'slaughter' in Spanish). A truck driver, whose vehicle was carrying a load of animal fat, ran a red light at high speed and crashed into a passenger bus, killing two women and injuring 22 others - among them, a passenger who lost her right arm. The truck driver, 44, suffered an open fracture in his right leg, and has been arrested. Some sources claim that the truck driver had an expired driver's license, but other sources claim the relevant documents have not yet been analysed. |
