Two Cops on a Bike Dead After Being Ambushed
Colombia, On the morning of Sunday, November 9, a violent attack against the National Police occurred, where 2 sub-inspectors, Wilmer O.G.S, 39 and Edwin D.C.B, 32, lost their lives while carrying out patrol duties on a police bike in a rural area. According to authorities, the officers were ambushed by armed men with rifles, in an incident that is believed to be linked to a possible "pistol plan" attributed to the Clan del Golfo, a criminal organization present in the southwest of the department. The Governor's Office and the National Police announced a reward of up to 500 million pesos for information leading to the capture of those responsible for this crime. |
