Wear protection? They drove HEAD ON in to each other on a piece of metal with wheels on it. What protection could save your life from that? Not to mention....why wear protection? If you are stupid enough to ride a bike, and then drive towards someone that is driving towards you....it doesn't appear that you are concerned about living.
