Like she was under the influence of something, then tried to hitchhike by strutting/walking in the middle of the lane, as is usual for a hooker, got struck, and landed that way. ~ Looks like fast traffic so, Hit & Run, by possibly a truck that didn't see her because of a blind spot, her dark clothes, and it being night-time. |

Looks to be the next evolution of the tried-and-true roadside memorial, now featuring the actual victim in the display. Add a white cross, votive candles and a few bouquets of flowers, and...voila'! Be sure to stop and give her a kiss on the way by.

This is eerily reminiscent of another equally (or perhaps more) gruesome accident in exactly the same circumstances, also involving a woman, several years ago. Maybe somebody has that picture. That other unfortunate lady was wearing black pantyhose if I recall—not jeans. In any case, horrible to see this poor woman die like this... I can only hope that it happened so fast and what such impact that she lost consciousness and died immediately, before she could feel much pain... but who the hell knows...  |
