Re: Turkey Military Vehicle Runs Over Elderly Woman
You keeled Seester Bertille!! A little trivia: "In the hour-long series pilot, Chicago native Elsie Ethrington arrives in San Juan from New York City after her arrest for having been involved in a protest; she then adopts the name of Sister Bertrille. It is also later learned (in the episode "My Sister, The Sister") that Sister Bertrille comes from a family of physicians, and that she is the only member of that family who did not follow in their footsteps. She instead became a nun, joining the Convento San Tanco, after being impressed by the missionary work of her aunt, and broke up with her boyfriend of eight months, a toy salesman." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Flying_Nun |

Re: Turkey Military Vehicle Runs Over Elderly Woman
I'm sorry, but that made me laugh. To think she survived in a country like Turkey for 85 years - she beat a World War, civil and regional conflicts, poverty and lack of resources, the risks of childbirth in a third world nation, decades of terribly strong coffee that tastes like mud, decades of diarrhea from eating stuffed bell peppers (alternating with decades of having her colon plugged up from pita bread that's too dry), as well as decades of having some grunting animal with a hairy back and garlic breath (who she called a husband) ride her each night like a government mule ......... she survives all that and then actually ends up leaving this mortal coil by meandering under a giant Tonka toy driven by a young pissed off soldier and has to be scraped off the carpark by her remaining family members ??. Come on, that's fucking HILARIOUS |
