In Turkey, He Killed His Stepmother by Shooting Her in the Street
In Turkey at Gaziosmanpaşa, Özkan Y. (24), who was allegedly not wanted at home by his father and stepmother because of drug use, shot his stepmother in the middle of the street with a gun and killed her. The moment of the attack was reflected on the security camera of a workplace.The incident occurred at around 11.50 pm today in Karayolları Neighbourhood. According to the information obtained, 24-year-old Özkan Y., who was using drugs, asked his stepmother Dilek Y. and his father for money to buy drugs and threatened them when they were not given.Özkan Y., who was unwanted at home after what happened, followed his stepmother Dilek Y. (38) and her sister walking on the street for a while. Özkan Y. shot Dilek Y. twice in the head with the pistol in his hand and ran away from the scene. Upon notification, police and health teams were dispatched to the scene.
