I have heart problems and you get desperate when you have a crisis, believe me, you wouldn't be able to avoid it, by the way, if I ever stop logging in for over a month to this board, it means I'm dead, good bye to all in advance. |

any normal hearted human can familiarize themselves with agonal breathing. Especially since cops cuffed him, sat him, observed he was probably obese, not a threat, and neglected the signs. Makes me angry. Truly. |

brilliant watching how many people immediately look to blame a cop for anything while performing their job, but literally dont ever bring up the things leading up to police presence. in the majority of cases i've seen where something bad happens with police involved, the only thing talked about is the police, when they are but one factor, and usually just a symptom of a larger problem, which seems that assholes cant seem to just follow ANY laws anymore, and now even the results of drug use somehow fall on a police officer who has to respond to a scene with a person who's consumed them. and how about the person that called the cops in literally everyone of these situations, usually domestic, which leads to a loss of life? maybe they should have taken more action to fix things without bringing the police into it, especially considering how everybody says the police are just going to kill you anyway? call a neighbor. call another family member. but nope they want the police to come mediate their issues and babysit psychotic drug addled aggressive retards. i hate the system. it needs work. but so does our entire culture, and dickheads like OP thrive on the state of division we are in, while offering zero actual advice for how to make things better for everybody. tragedies are tragic, everythings not meant to fit your political narrative dipshit. ![]() |

I would love to know your perspective as to how a coked up individual should be properly detained. I don't see or hear this guy get beat up, nor suffocated. I would love to know your relevant personal/professional background and what you could bring to the table in a situation like this, because I, as an active duty law enforcement officer, could learn a thing or two about this. Over here in Belgium they already have a name for this: Excited Delirium Syndrome. Which may or may not have been caused by narcotics abuse. But, in true Belgian fashion, no guidelines or training has been developed so we are left to improvise. Which has led to quite a few deaths over here as well... |

Re: Tucson, AZ Police Restrain Man Until Dead, Chat About It Casually Afterwards.
if the guy was in poor health, then why: a)was he doing drugs b)fighting with his mom or whatever got him in trouble c)fighting with cops and why is he or anybody else not responsible for the things leading up to the cops being called or how they reacted to them? i've had multiple police encounters. some cops are dicks but not "bad" cops. some cops are bad cops tho. but even a dick cop, if you act normal, follow commands, etc., especially in domestic situations where no real crime has happened yet, if you are cool and leave or do what they say you'll be fine. period. why isnt there video of the encounter leading up to him being on the ground? did you selectively leave it out because it showed the perp acting like a madman? hmmmmmmmm |
