Trucker Dying in Overturned Truck when Bystanders Loot the Truck
Mexico, A group of residents of Veracruz took advantage of the overturning of a tractor trailer that was involved in an accident while traveling on the highway. While the trucker was seriously injured and died later on, without receiving help, a video shows the insensitivity shown by the residents, who stole the merchandise, towards the dying trucker and caused annoyance among users of social networks. The events were recorded on Wednesday morning when the tractor trailer, that transported groceries, overturned, and was heading to the capital of Veracruz, however, it had an accident in a road curve. The driver was badly injured and dying with his face on the pavement inside the cabin of the unit, without receiving help from the residents who preferred to steal the merchandise. The emergency services had to break the iron bars of the trailer cabin in order to remove the body of the driver, who died of serious fractures. Local media indicated that the crew of a van that was circulating in the area of the rollover were injured. The video of the robbery generated all kinds of reactions from social network users, since most showed their outrage at the indifference and inhumanity of the people who stole merchandise. The Veracruz authorities have not reported people getting detained for these events but are still investigating. |

Re: Trucker Dying in Overturned Truck when Bystanders Loot the Truck
I’d never seen poverty until I visited Mexico. People live in little box homes with a dirt floor. Those homes are tiny, like the size of a bedroom in a normal house. I understand why I’m seeing them looting goods. They literally have nothing.. |

Stealing merchandise, or simply helping to unload the truck's contents so that it would be easier to turn upright/tow away?

Gotta love that narration: "The driver is dying.... ....dying is the driver.... And meanwhile, people are robbing his things" Thank you, Señor Doctor Seuss |

Re: Trucker Dying in Overturned Truck when Bystanders Loot the Truck
~ In countries where something is something & nothing is nothing, finding anything of worth that can be sold, is something something. ~ I think the cause of the rollover was speeding & an overworked tired driver, who had to meet a deadline, which he did, but failed to deliver the goods, except to locals. |

~ There was nothing else they could have done for the driver, or theirselves. The emergency services had to break the iron bars of the trailer cabin in order to remove the body of the driver, who died of serious fractures.

It looked like to me like authorities are trying to save face, but common not one person is helping him. I don’t care how poor you are it’s called being humane. Oh the humanity!
