Truck Hits a Guy Walking in the Middle of the Cross Bronx Expressway
  PARKCHESTER A pedestrian was fatally struck on the Cross Bronx Expressway early Thursday morning. The incident happened around 2 a.m. when a man, believed to be in his 20s, was found dead on the side of the expressway. Police believe he walked onto the road, and for some reason was hit by a Red Peterbilt dump truck. They say the driver left the scene. Police temporarily had a section of the northbound side of the expressway by exit 5A at White Plains Road closed off earlier Thursday morning, causing heavy traffic. |

The driver fled the scene? But at some point, the accident video was found. Did the driver have other reasons to flee? Surely not because he struck a mosquito in the roadway.
